New Zealand Sport

To say that sport is prominent here is an understatement, much more than Europe, both watching and partaking. The news always dedicates about 25% to sports coverage and here in lies the first problem for new immigrants. When the reporters are covering events the team names give little clues as to what sport they are talking about or where they are from, so this wiki is covering team names and their sport, plus location.

Cricket

Cricket is straight forward, these are all NZ teams in the league equivalent to county cricket in the UK, there is also a twenty twenty competition.
